CPR TRAINING (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Young or old, when someone suffers Cardiac Arrest, EVERY SECOND COUNTS! By performing CPR, you become a lifeline for an unresponsive person until emergency medical help arrives. EVERYONE, at any age should know CPR! The Oakhurst First-Aid Squad holds ongoing CPR courses for the general public, whether you intend to join the squad or not. Courses are held at: Fire Station 1 (Larkin Place off West Park Ave., Oakhurst) Watch here for the next class! This course is FREE if you are considering joining our squad. Either way, you MUST pre-register for this course by calling: 732-229-7354. EMT TRAINING (Emergency Medical Technician) For all local EMT training programs please click HERE ~ SQUAD MEMBERS ONLY ~ Training sessions for squad members are held on the 3rd Monday of each month promptly at 7:30 pm.
